Career paths and exam preparation
Find out what you
cannot do yet.
Most preparation asks you to work through everything, including the parts you already know. Equinox Prep runs a short adaptive diagnostic, works out which competencies you are actually missing, and teaches only those.
What you are looking at
Every point is a competency, not a lesson.
The constellation above is the real graph behind the catalogue. Lines are prerequisites. The 17 points burning warm are competencies more than one destination depends on, and they are the reason a second exam costs a fraction of the first: it reuses what is already there and pays only for what is genuinely new to it.
How it works
Diagnose
A short adaptive test. It stops asking about a competency the moment it knows which side of the teach-or-skip line you are on, so someone who is clearly fine on a topic settles it in three questions rather than ten.
Close the gap
You get the competencies you are missing, hardest first, with a lesson for each. Nothing you already demonstrated. There is no course to complete and no cohort to keep up with.
Prove it
A verified attempt produces a public record of what was assessed, how hard it was, and — stated plainly — what was not covered. A credential that overstates itself is worth nothing.
What we sell
Preparation for somebody else’s high-stakes exam.
The authority belongs to the exam board, not to us, and that is the point. You are not buying recognition of an Equinox Prep certificate — you are buying the best preparation for the test that already matters to the university, the employer or the immigration officer who asked for it. The record we issue is a by-product, and it gets more useful the longer it exists.
